The Army Center for Substance Abuse Programs (ACSAP) provides soldiers, commanders, Unit Prevention Leaders (UPL) and members of the United States Army community with easily accessabile online resources and tools to help prevent substance abuse, both domestic and aboard.

Magnum Multimedia was hired by VMD Systems Integrators to serve as the architecture and creative design and development partner for the redesign of both the public and private Web sites for ACSAP. MM lead the requirements gathering meetings to confirm the audience stakeholder groups for interviews and usability testing. Once confirmed, MM scheduled and conducted a series of group and 1 and 1 interviews to identify primary and secondary content categories, assumed key tasks and technical skill level of target audience groups.

Identified content categories necessary to the primary tasks were presented on cards to conduct a series of 24 Card Sort Tests to create the initial site architecture. Visual Composites were presented and series of iterative designs were provided to establish the final look & feel of the Web site and hand-off to the VMD development team for content and page development, migration, testing and deployment.
